Blue Scholars
Blue Scholars is a hip hop duo based in Seattle, Washington. Their music and lyrics often focus on struggles between socioeconomic classes, challenging authority and youth empowerment, as evidenced in the songs "Blink" and "Commencement Day." These themes are often specifically addressed in relation to the Seattle region, as in "Southside Revival", "North by Northwest", and "The Ave."
Blue Scholars released the following albums including Full Moon Night (1995), Bayani (2007), The Long March EP (2007), Blue Scholars (2007), Bayani Redux (2009) and Oof! EP (2009).
