Erykah Badu

Erykah Badu was born on 26 Feb 1971 in Dallas, Texas, United States. Her birth name was Erica Abi Wright. Her is also called Erykah Badu.

Erica Abi Wright , is a multiple Grammy-winner, African-American soul singer and songwriter, whose work includes elements from R&B, hip hop and jazz. She is best known for her role in the rise of the neo soul sub-genre, and for her eccentric, cerebral musical stylings and sense of fashion. She is known as the "First Lady of Neo-Soul" or the "Queen of Neo".

Erykah Badu released the following albums including Baduizm (1997), Live (1997), Mama's Gun (2000), Worldwide Underground (2003), New Amerykah, Pt. 1: 4th World War (2008) and New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh (2010).
