Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole was born on 20 May 1959 in Hawaii, USA. His birth name was Israel Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻole. His is also called Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.Israel Kamakawiwo'ole died on 26 Jun 1997.

He was a Hawaiʻian musician.
He became famous outside Hawaii when his album Facing Future was released in 1993 with his medley of "Over the Rainbow" and "What a Wonderful World", which was subsequently featured in several films, television programs, and commercials.

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole released the following albums including Ka 'Ano'i (1989), Facing Future (1993), E Ala E (1995), In Dis Life (1996), IZ in Concert: The Man and His Music (1999), Alone in IZ World (2001), Wonderful World (2007) and Unforgettable (2008).
