MC Hammer was born on 30 Mar 1962 in Oakland, California. His birth name was Stanley Kirk Burrell. His is also called Hammer, MC Hammer, Hammertime.

Stanley Kirk Burrell is a rapper, entertainer and dancer most popular during the late 1980s until the mid-1990s. Remembered for a rapid rise to fame before losing a majority of his fortune, he is also known for his hit records, flamboyant dance techniques and trademark Hammer pants.

MC Hammer released the following albums including Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em (1990), Let's Get It Started (1990), Mc Hammer V Inside Out (1995), MC Hammer - Greatest Hits (1996), The Hits (2000) and Active Duty (2001).
