Zucchero was born on 25 Sep 1955 in Reggio Emilia, Italy. His birth name was Adelmo Fornaciari. His is also called Zucchero.

Adelmo Fornaciari , more commonly known by his stage name Zucchero Fornaciari, is an Italian rock singer. His music is largely inspired by gospel, blues and rock music, and alternates between ballads and more rhythmic boogie-like pieces.

Zucchero released the following albums including Overdose d'Amore (The Ballads) (1999), Shake (2002), Zu & Co (Italian Version) (2004) and Zucchero & Co. (2005).
