4th Of July

We met on that wednesday night I was down but you were so bright I remember that wednesday night so well We played guitar all those afternoons Heard records on the floor of your room I knew that i would fall in love with you When you told me my surprise I looked and asked you why did you tell me now We were sitting in the chair You whispered in my ear Let's go home now I'm thinking of the 4th of july Holding hands looking up at the sky I remember the 4th of july so well I know that you're always with me I feel the strength you're giving me I know this love will never die
