If Christmas Never Came

If Christmas never came, There’d be no stockings hung, No joyful carols sung, No silver church bells rung, If Christmas never came, Lovers would surely miss, Each warm mistletoe kiss, If Christmas never came, If Christmas never came, No-one would deck the halls, Of stores and Shopping malls, With lights and colored balls, If Christmas never came, There would be no Saint Nick, No candy canes to lick, If Christmas never came. So join the celebration, Peace on Earth, Good will and joy proclaimed, And live each day, With hope not as if, Christmas never came. If Christmas never came, There'd be no silent night, No angels caught in flight, Or starlights shining bright, If Christmas never came, There'd be no virgin birth, No gift of love to Earth, If Christmas never came. So join the celebration, Peace on Earth, Good will and joy proclaimed, And live each day, With hope not as if, Christmas never came. If Christmas never came, There'd be no hope for me, That's just how it would be, If Christmas never came.
