Last One Singin' The Blues

I've always tried to level with you eye to eye I finally found the devil in you by and by But I don't really want to be the Last one singing the blues When it comes to fiction you're the best I've met But all those little lies Are gonna get you yet But I don't really want to be the Last one singin' the blues You say that you love me But if you really love me Then why do you treat me this way Your game is that you're gone again It's off and then it's on again Well someday I won't play If all I do is catch you in the same old lies I'll just have to look at you With different eyes 'Cause I don't really want to be The last one singin' the blues You say that you love me But if you really love me Then why do you treat me this way Your game is that you're gone again It's off and then it's on again Well someday I won't play (Don't forget the break) Well fate will soon determine you're the one to lose I'll be the one who's handin' you your walkin' shoes 'Cause I don't really want to be The last one singin' the blues Yeah, I don't really want to be The last one singing the blues
