Kraftwerk (German: power plant or power station, German pronunciation: [ˈkʁaftvɛɐk]) is an influential electronic music band from Düsseldorf, Germany. The group's minimalist lyrics are at times sung through a vocoder or generated by custom speech synthesis hardware and software. Their songs are chiefly in a mix of German and English, with some French and other languages.
Kraftwerk released the following albums including The Mix (1991), Trans-Europe Express (1995), The Man-Machine (1995), Radio-Activity (1995), Autobahn (1996), Tour de France Soundtracks (2003), Electric Cafe (2005), Minimum-Maximum (2005) and Computer World (2006).
