Vaya Con Dios

Whither Thou Goest Les Paul and Mary Ford Words and music by Gary Singer The lyrics to this song were based on the Old Testament story of Naomi and Ruth, in which Ruth, the daughter-in-law, pledges her fidelity to the mother of her dead husband. Whither thou goest, I will go. Wherever thou lodgest, I will lodge. Thy people shall be my people, my love. Whither thou goest, I will go. For as in that story long ago, The same sweet love story now is so. Thy people shall be my people, my love. Whither thou goest I will go.
