One of the Last Things

Maybe it takes a long time to be as good as you To see things clearly and act proud And know just what to do Maybe I'm just some fool heading nowhere fast But I loved you then and I love you now Sorry I said it last (C) One of the last things you told me When I was too young to realize Was to love and cherish life Work hard, and to strive Now you're gone When I talk to you, you make everything so clear You taught me how to look at the world Taught me there's nothing to fear (C)
