Make My Day

Woke up late World won't wait So I make my way downstairs Mom freaks out Please don't shout I still have to dry my hair I've been up all night Just thinking you're the one Who's in my dreams My heart just keeps on jumping When I think what we could be Just go ahead and make my day You make the world just melt away When things go wrong and skies are gray Just make my day, make my day Second bell Show and tell At my locker down the hall Heart in throat See your note And it turns out after all You've been up all night Just thinking I'm the one Who's in your dreams Your heart just keeps on thumping When you think what we could be Just go ahead and make my day You make the world just melt away When things go wrong and skies are gray You just make my day, make my day We're holding hands We're walking home We don't know what to say But later on I read your text You made my day Here we go! Ha! Just go ahead and make my day You make the world just melt away When things go wrong and skies are gray You just make my day Just go ahead and make my day You make the world just melt away When things go wrong and skies are gray You just make my day, make my day You just make my day
