Yello

The band was formed by Boris Blank and Carlos Perón in the late 1970s. Yello's sound is mainly characterised by unusual music samples, a heavy reliance on rhythm and Dieter Meier's dark voice.

Yello released the following albums including 1980-1985: The New Mix in One Go (1986), Baby (1991), Essential (1993), Zebra (1994), Pocket Universe (1997), The Eye (2005), You Gotta Say Yes to Another Excess (2005), Stella (2005), Solid Pleasure (Dig) (2005), One Second (2005), Flag (2005), Claro Que Si (Dig) (2005) and Touch Yello (2009).
