Bill Withers

Bill Withers was born on 04 Apr 1938 in Slab Fork, West Virginia, U.S.. His birth name was William Harrison Withers, Jr.. His is also called Bill Withers.

He is a singer-songwriter and musician who performed and recorded from 1970 until 1985. 2005: Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee; 2006: ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Heritage award;2007: Inducted into West Virginia Music Hall of Fame.
