Three Wishes

Early Monday morning, more like Sunday night I saw three flashes tear across the sky It came without a warning, a second to react I let my wishes go too fast, I want them back Three wishes are not enough I wish I had one more I'd wish it all back just like before Three wishes I asked too much I wish I'd known it then I wish I could take it back again Every room is winter, Midas touch is gold The castle's cold without a hand to hold Sinking with quick silver, glitter starts to rust Burning red like sunset in the summer dusk Three wishes are not enough I wish I had one more I'd wish it all back just like before Three wishes I asked too much I wish I'd known it then I wish I could take it back again, again I'm waiting in the wreckage I watch the sky all night I wish on every airplane And falling satellite Three wishes are not enough I wish I had one more I'd wish it all back just like before Three wishes I asked too much I wish I'd known it then I wish I could take it back again Three wishes Three wishes Three wishes
